Who pays for shipping?

On Curtsy, you decide who pays for shipping.

We recommend making shipping free for buyers to help your items sell faster, but this is optional. On average, about 60% of items are listed on Curtsy with free shipping, and those items typically sell 2x faster than items listed without free shipping. When you offer shoppers free shipping, the cost is deducted from your earnings.

When listing an item, you'll be able to select the item's weight.

  • $3.95, under .25 lb. (Light weight jewelry, sunglasses, baseball caps and face masks)
  • $4.95, under .5 lb. (Tanks, tees, athletic shorts, sports bras, leggings, some bikini tops and bottoms)
  • $5.95, under .75 lb. (Most tees, short dresses, rompers, skirts, shorts)
  • $7.45, under 1 lb. (Track pants, sweaters, small handbags, and most jeans and pants)
  • $9.95, under 2 lbs. (Most jackets and dresses, handbags, heavy sweaters, jeans, pants)
  • $10.95, under 3 lbs. (Most shoes, larger handbags, long dresses, and large jackets)
  • $12.95, under 4 lbs. (Boots, rain boots, very large jackets, and heavy gowns)

After you make a sale we’ll text you a link to print your prepaid shipping label. No printer? No worries. We’re happy to send you a label in the mail. You can also request a QR code to have your label printed at USPS for you!
